Abstract
The noble art of capturing human life is pursued by literature.
Literature can be referred to as the mirror of time. In this regard, Sangam
literature beautifully reflects the unparalleled lifestyle of Tamils. Among the
anthology works created during the late Sangam period, the Kurunthogai is a
significant internal piece shaped by Agaval. This esteemed collection, known as
the Good Kurunthogai, records all aspects such as the five qualities of love,
the three subjects, nature, and the lifestyle of Tamils. Furthermore, it
incisively illustrates the inner and outer lifestyles of ancient Tamils, as
well as their customs and traditions. Tamils who lived in ancient times managed
their lifestyles gracefully. In this way, this article is crafted to observe
how the Kurunthogai expressed the elements of Tamil life.
