Abstract
Sangam age is the golden age of Tamil culture. During this period, Tamil life flourished on the basis of art, literature, social structure, and religion. Sanghi literature, archaeological excavations, and contemporary evidence suggest that the Tamils of this period were highly developed in terms of scientific skills, crafts, agriculture, warfare, and political personalities. Sangam literature expresses the cultural views of Tamils on life, love, friendship, valour and nature.
